Hawaii WIC Program

Hawaii WIC Program (WIC) is a supplemental nutrition program for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, women who had a baby within the last six months, infants, and children under the age of five. One must meet income requirements, Hawaii residence requirement and have a nutritional risk that proper nutrition could help to improve.

Do You Qualify for Hawaii WIC?

To see if you may qualify, you must:

Be a

  • A pregnant woman; OR
  • An infant or child up to five years old; OR
  • A mother of a baby up to six months old; OR A breastfeeding mother of a baby up to 12 months old.
  • Meet income guidelines;
  • Be a resident of Hawaii; and
  • Be seen by a health professional at the WIC clinic.

Missouri WIC Program

Missouri WIC Program (WIC) is a supplemental nutrition program for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, women who had a baby within the last six months, infants, and children under the age of five. One must meet income requirements, Missouri residence requirement and have a nutritional risk that proper nutrition could help to improve.

To see if you may qualify, you must:

WIC Program Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • Categorical
  • Residential
  • Income
  • Nutrition Risk

Categorical: Women must be pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding stage

Residential: Applicants must live in the State in which they apply

Income Requirement:  Income can’t exceed 185 percent of the Federal poverty guidelines

Nutrition Risk Requirement:  Applicants must be seen by a health professional such as a physician, nurse, or nutritionist who must determine whether the individual is at nutrition risk.  In many cases, this is done in the WIC clinic at no cost to the applicant.  However, this information can be obtained from another health professional such as the applicant’s physician.
